This final episode of “Lunchtime” sees Kalle and Mo celebrating a commendation for their solid safety record. It’s a big day, especially for Kalle who is busy phrasing a poetic acceptance speech about his spearheading role as the HS&E battering ram. But does he actually get to hold his speech? All’s well that ends better
It took them twelve episodes, but they finally made it: Kalle and Mo are being commended for their contribution to workplace safety. Although the award signals the end of our “Lunchtime” sitcom, safety at work is remaining firmly fixed at the top of our agenda.
The company has launched a number of initiatives in recent years, uniting the entire workforce from shop floor to top floor in developing a robust safety culture at Rolls-Royce Power Systems – with measurable results.
Kalle and Mo also helped to keep discussions going and sharpen the focus on occupational safety even more.
Maybe you’ll remember our two HS&E Heroes the next time you notice a potential hazard. Because everyone can help to prevent industrial accidents and work-related illness. So do your bit to make sure you and your colleagues get home safe and sound – every day.
